Anyone who has been in Bandera for any length of time is aware of the magnitude of the feral and stray cat overpopulation here.  Every year, kitten season became more and more difficult to endure so I decided I needed to do something to help.  Initially, the plan was to fix as many cats as I could with my own funds, once I started soliciting cats though, it quickly became apparent that the problem was greater than I realized so I decided I needed to solicit support from the community to have a greater impact.  Our focus is on spaying all the females in a colony at the same time to achieve the best possible results.
